Why Fuqua?

Our MBA Prep Kick-off will be held at Fuqua School of Business at Duke University this year and we caught up with some MLT Alum who attend Fuqua and asked them to share some of their favorite things about the school.

While at Fuqua you have to…. Attend “Fuqua Listens” – a once a term chance to discover new perspectives from your diverse classmates on tough topics

My favorite thing about Fuqua is…That each Fuqua experience is tailored to your class’ unique interests. This is because 90% of what happens at Fuqua are student-led initiatives. You and your classmates will shape your experience so that each year is a little different based on the passions of your talented and global classmates. You will learn, lead, and engage in ways that you never expected and that is by design.

In three words, why Fuqua? Leaders of Consequence

While at Fuqua you have to…. Challenge yourself. Challenge yourself to take difficult courses, challenge yourself to see the world through a GATE trip or a trek, challenge yourself to follow your dreams, and most importantly challenge yourself to meet your classmates.

My favorite thing about Fuqua is… Fuqua Friday, it’s so simple food, drinks and great people. It’s truly a great time to reconnect with classmates, decompress from a stressful week, talk to our Dean Russ Morgan, and grab a meal with our professors. I always look forward to connecting with my C-Lead team.
