DEI Executive Roundtable: Going on the Offensive on DEI
Join us for an intimate in-person gathering of diversity leaders and executives on the afternoon of Thursday, July 25th at 3:30 pm at the Harvard Club of New York City. Similar to MLT’s prior events, this will be an invite-only discussion among executive peers (CDOs, CHROs, and other diversity-focused executives) and subject matter experts. We will have an executive roundtable discussion, followed by cocktails and networking.
The executive roundtable will be a facilitated discussion about what we can do collectively and individually to “go on the offensive” to continue advancing our DEI agendas during this challenging time. The session will be divided into 3 topics:
- Understanding the DEI legal environment with clarification on the legal status and risks of DEI initiatives developed by MLT with two major employment law firms
- Combatting internal and external pushback on DEI and countering false narratives
- Increasing manager empathy and understanding of the underrepresented employee experience in order to build inclusive leadership practices based on MLT experience working with major organizations
Following our roundtable, we’ll enjoy cocktails and we’ll be able to informally continue our discussions and further get to know each other.
Event attendance is limited to diversity, equity, inclusion, and human capital executives and is subject to capacity. After filling out the registration form, registrants will receive an email confirming that they meet the event criteria and that MLT has available space.
