GMAT or GRE Practice Test Saturday & Debrief Session

Event Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025
Starts: 8:00 am ET

8:00 am ET: Beginning with a pre-test group huddle at we’ll discuss:

  • Fundamental elements of effective test-taking strategy
  • Time management for both the GMAT and GRE
  • Keys to an effective mindset for practice testing
  • Practical/logistical considerations for test-taking

You’ll then take your practice test on your own

11:30 am ET: The group will reconvene for a post-exam debrief to discuss your experiences, how to draw useful insights from your practice tests, and next steps for your prep process. We’ll include time for you to vent, for Q&A, and hopefully for some success stories!

For some, this will be a helpful benchmark, coupled with expert guidance to make the practice test experience as useful as possible. For others, this will be about overcoming fear/reluctance/ procrastination/complacency and moving into action.

Whatever the case for you, we invite you to join us and look forward to supporting you in achieving your score goals!

To Prepare:
GRE: Set up a free account at ets.org, and familiarize yourself with the website. Unless you’ve already completed it, you should plan to take PowerPrep Test 2.
GMAT Focus: Set up a free account at mba.com, and familiarize yourself with the website. Unless you’ve already completed it, you should plan to take GMAT Focus Practice Exam 1.

If you’ve already taken the exam, you can take another official exam or an unofficial exam, but the primary focus of this session will be on official practice exams.
At a minimum, you should have scratch paper and a pen/pencil. Ideally, you’ll have the same kind of scratch paper/dry erase boards allowed at the test you’re planning to take. (These parameters vary from GMAT to GRE and from test center to at home; choose the scenario most likely to apply to you.)

Try to get a good night’s sleep; and make sure you’re appropriately fueled, energized, and ready to go!
