(Bethesda, MD) January 15, 2026 - Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), the national nonprofit dedicated to advancing economic mobility and building meritocratic workplaces, today announced the release of its MLT20 Impact Report, marking 20 years of measurable impact for individuals, employers, and communities across the country.
The report highlights how MLT has helped thousands of talented individuals secure high-trajectory careers, advance into leadership, and generate a powerful multiplier effect across corporate America—while partnering with employers to strengthen recruiting, promotion, and talent development practices.
“For 20 years, MLT has proven that when talent is met with the right coaching, playbook, and relationships, extraordinary things happen,” said Cristal Baron, Chief Advancement Officer of MLT. “This report reflects not only the scale of what we’ve achieved together, but the urgency of this moment and the opportunity ahead as we enter our next chapter.”
Over two decades, MLT has accelerated the careers of 15,000+ individuals, and more than 1,600 of its alumni have reached senior leadership roles across private, public, and social sectors, and are helping to open doors for those coming behind them. MLT’s 225 employer partners, representing more than 7 million employees, work with the organization to build more inclusive, meritocratic, and future-ready workplaces.
“MLT partners with institutions as critical partners in creating career opportunities at scale, so our work has always been about more than individual success. We’re reshaping how institutions attract, develop, and advance top talent to ensure that workplaces are fully meritocratic so that individuals can go as far as their talent and hard work will take them. As MLT marks its 20th anniversary, we invite partners, supporters, and alumni to help accelerate what’s next and expand economic mobility for generations.”
As part of the MLT20 celebration, the organization will engage its community through a national storytelling campaign and a series of events, culminating in a major convening in May 2026, which will bring together more than 2,000 alumni, employers, and supporters to activate the next era of impact.
