Maria Razo
Maria Razo, Associate Director of Alumni Engagement
Maria Razo joined Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) in April 2021 and serves as the Associate Director of Alumni Engagement.
Maria began her career in school operations, serving the students of turn-around high schools in Watts and South Los Angeles. She developed the teams and systems that enabled the smooth operations of her schools, empowering the schools’ leaders to dedicate their time to coaching the teachers to better serve the students. Through serving these communities, she developed her purpose, which is to create methods of social mobility for underserved and under-resourced communities.
Prior to MLT, Maria served as the associate director of the Alumni Network Impact team for The Broad Center, where she worked with a nationwide network of ~1,000 senior leaders from the largest school systems to create the programming and leadership development opportunities that enabled them to empower the thousands of students they serve.
Maria holds a B.A. and is a proud alumna of California State University, Long Beach.
