What is Turn Pro?
Turn Pro is a program offering career preparation services, including one-on-one coaching, a professional playbook, and access to networking opportunities to obtain high-wage, quality jobs post-graduation. Eligible applicants must be a junior or senior at one of the partnering colleges, must be at least 18 years old, must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be in good academic standing, must not intend to go to graduate school directly after graduation, and must be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent citizen, or DACA recipient.
How much work would the Turn Pro program require of me?
Students in the Turn Pro program should plan to set aside one hour a week for Turn Pro assignments and coach calls. Additional time should be set aside quarterly to complete interviews and surveys.

What are the Turn Pro program eligibility requirements?

You are graduating between December 2022 and June 2025

You are actively enrolled at a partner university

You are a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident (includes DACA and TPS)

You have at least a 2.0 GPA and are in good academic standing

You are intending to work full-time after graduation

You are at least 18 years old

You are not currently participating in an MLT program
Note: Turn Pro is a part of a study and applicants will be selected for a limited number of spots through a lottery-like process.
Can I join Turn Pro if I do not identify as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American?
Yes, participation is open to all students from partner universities who meet the primary study eligibility criteria, regardless of race or ethnicity.
The Study
What is the purpose of the MLT Turn Pro study?
The study will evaluate Turn Pro services over the 2021-2023 school years to determine whether the college-to-career coaching services are effective in helping students secure quality high-wage jobs post-graduation through career coaching, a professional playbook, and networking opportunities. About 2,000 are expected to participate in the study.
