Management Leadership for Tomorrow Awarded Grant from The Warner Music Group/Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund
Washington, D.C. (December 6, 2024) — Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) has recently been awarded a generous two year grant from The Warner Music Group/Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund (WMG/BFF SJF). This grant will support the Career Advancement Program (CAP), which is a nine month initiative that provides highly talented, mid-career professionals with the keys to unlock their full potential and advance towards senior leadership roles within their organizations.
CAP is both a self-discovery journey as well as a professional development program that provides participants with executive coaching, personalized assessments, practical application simulations, and a sustainable toolkit with strategies for continued growth and development. WMG/BFF SJF’s grant aims to provide training and networking opportunities to approximately 20 mid-career professionals in the music, technology, and entertainment industries over the next two years.
In response to this generosity, Cristal Baron, MLT’s Head of Advancement, stated: “On behalf of MLT, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Warner Music Group & Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund for their generous two-year grant in support of CAP. Through this new partnership, we are excited to further the careers of people of color and advance them to the next stage of their leadership journey. I’m excited to see the powerful impact these new leaders will have in their organizations across the music, technology, and entertainment industries.”
This grant will enable MLT to help many more exemplary mid-career professionals achieve their goals through CAP and help them succeed on their journeys to fulfilling careers in the music, technology, and entertainment industries.
